The Holy Father appoints br. Enzo Bianchi consultor of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity
On July 22, 2014 the Holy Father Pope Francis appointed brother Enzo Bianchi, the prior of the Monastery of Bose, as consultor of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.
In the past Pope Benedict XVI had already appointed br Enzo as member of the Managing Board of the Catholic Committee for the Cultural Collaboration with the Orthodox and the Eastern Orthodox Churches of the PCPCU and expert at the Synods of Bishops of 2008 and 2012.
The prior and the community would like to express their feeling of gratitude to the Pope for this sign of trust and love, and they ask friends and guests to pray the Holy Spirit to englighten and sustain br Enzo and the community in their service to the Christian unity.
