This year too during the vigil of the Transfiguration, in the night between 5 and 6 August, we celebrated our alliance with the Lord and between us as we accepted the gift of four new members who upon finishing their period of probation have made their definitive monastic profession in the hands of the prior

The ties with the local Church of Biella and the paternal affection of our bishop Gabriele Mana were strengthened in these last months through the appointment of br Guido as delegate for ecumenism and dialoge of the diocese of Biella. Br Lino continues to offer his collaboration with the diocese as memeber of the diocese's pastoral council

 At the beginning of June the 7th International Liturgical Conference, organized in collaboration with the National office of the patrimony of the Church, on “Church and city” was held in Bose. The theme was treated from the anthropological, sociological, historical, liturgical, theological points of view, as well as under the aspects of architecture and urban planning.

 At the end of July we hosted a work session of the Work session of the Episcopal commission on the liturgy of the Conference of Italian Bishops charged with the Italian translation of the new edition of the Roman Missal. Present, together with several experts (among whom our brother Goffredo), were five bishops from Italian dioceses

In addition to the conference on Orthodox spirituality there have bee many other occasions in these months of fraternal exchange with those who share the same monastic vocation with us. We have been happy to welcome in Bose: fr Michael Kelly, abbot general of the Silvestrine Benedictines; fr Luigi Gioia, newly elected abbot of the Olivetan monastery of Seregno

As always, we document the principal appointments that took the prior to various Italian and foreign cities to carry out his intensive ministry of preaching. Other brothers and sisters too served the community, the local Church, and different religious communities in Italy and abroad with their preaching. Some of them also participated at several conferences on theological and spiritual subjects

After the work of restructuring, which has already begun, it will house, Deo volente, a new fraternity of our community.
