Monks in the desert

Visits of monks and nuns are are always precious occasion for us for a confrontation with brothers and sisters which share with us the same vocation. In this period of time we have been happy to welcom: father Adalberto, br Giovanni, br Antonio, and br Mauro of the Benedictine monastery of Dumenza; br Marco and br Nino now staying in the Trappist monastery of Tre Fontane, Rome; father Emilio and br Marino of the Hermitage of Camaldoli; br Isaac and br Iako, Benedictine monks of Pannonhalma (Hungary);

br Benoît of the Benedictine priory of Saint Benoît di Étiolle (France); br Philippe of the Benedictine monastery of Ganagobie (France); br Patrice of the Trappist monastery of Mont-des-Cats (France); father Frédéric of the Benedictine monastery of Saint-André de Clerlande (Belgium); mother Loyse, abbess of Ermeton (Belgium); sr Minke of the Reformed community of Grandchamp, who spents some weeks with us. Br François, a French hermit, and br Jean-Albert of the monastery of Wavreumont (Belgium) have both spent one sabbatic month in our community. Sr Haragewine, a little sister of Jesus from Ethiopia, is still living with us in order to know better the essence of monastic life.
