Visits of friendship

the painter Trento Longaretti

We are grateful to Alessandro Spina, with whom we, together with various friends, spent an intensive Sunday of in-depth study of his work as writer and as personality-bridge with the Arab world; to Chiara Frugoni, medievalist and friend of the community for many years, who in one of our traditional Sunday Confronti gave us her extremely timely reflections on St Francis of Assisi

We are grateful to Alessandro Spina, with whom we, together with various friends, spent an intensive Sunday of in-depth study of his work as writer and as personality-bridge with the Arab world; to Chiara Frugoni, medievalist and friend of the community for many years, who in one of our traditional Sunday Confronti (meetings) gave us her extremely timely reflections on St Francis of Assisi; to soprano Luciana Serra and the Nuovo Insieme Strumentale Italiano, who performed the Stabat Mater by Luigi Boccherini, chosen on purpose for the fifth Sunday of Lent and of the Passion; to the Cappella musicale della cattedrale di Lodi, our guest for the concert of Pentecost; and finally to the Russian poet Ol’ga Sedakova and to the painter Trento Longaretti,  who visited us: two figures of authentic pilgrims and seekers of the Spirit, who symbolize well all the friends and guests who continually make us the gift of their presence among us.
