Advent 2009 

This year too during the vigil of the Transfiguration, in the night between 5 and 6 August, we celebrated our alliance with the Lord and between us as we accepted the gift of four new members who upon finishing their period of probation have made their definitive monastic profession in the hands of the prior and before the entire community: br Emiliano, br Luigi, br Gianmatteo, and sr Elisabetta. The liturgy was presided by Giuseppe Guerrini, bishop of Saluzzo, the diocese from which came br Emiliano. As in other years, monks and nuns of other communities with which we have ties of friendship (Cumiana, Dumenza, Pra’d Mill, Seregno, Casamari) and numerous friends and guests participated.

Recently br Lorenzo ended his noviciate and has been liturgically welcome in the community. At the vigils of the first Sunday of Advent he pronounced his vows of celibacy and common life.
